Gömör vármegye nemes családai közé soroztatik *. Hasonlóan Kantha nevü család Zemplin vármegyében is létez, hol Kantha János 1700-ban szolgabiró volt *. És e század elején a Kantha család Szólnocska helységben birtokosul iratik. *
