Formiae, Φορμιαι, latiumi város az Appia Via mentén, a mai Mola di Gaeta mellett; korán polgári jogot nyert. Liv. 8, 14. 38, 36. Híres a környék bora (Hor. od. 1, 20, 11) és Cicero Formianuma (Cic. Att. 2, 14. 4, 2. fam. 16, 10), a melynek közelében halálát lelte. App. b. c. 4, 19. Strabo 5, 233. Suet. Vit. 7. SZ. IS.
