Buxentum
Buxentum, βουξεντον, eredetileg Pixus, m. Policastro di Busento, Lucania városa az ugyaníly nevű hegyfoknál, állítólag Micythus messanai kényúr alapította Kr. e. 467-ben; Kr. e. 194-ben római gyarmat lett (Liv. 32, 29), itt hajóztak át Siciliába.
