Nagy-Szombathi György,
Jézus-társasági áldozópap és tanár, szül. 1710. ápr. 23. Csécsen (Abauj-Tornam.); 1726. okt. 10. lépett a rendbe; Kolozsvárt az ékesszólást és költészetet tanította; Magyarország több helyén hitszónok, hittérítő lelkész volt. A rend feloszlatása (1773) után meghalt.

1. Elegiae supplices, sive gemitus suspirantis animae ad Thaumaturgam V. M. Claudiopolitanam. Honoribus… Neo-Baccalaureorum… Promotore R. P. Andrea Gall 1734. Maj. 27. Claudiopoli. (Névtelenül).
