Gruber József,
csatádi plébános Torontálmegyében 1797-től, hol 1804. márcz. 26. meghalt. Ő építette a csinos iskolaépületet 1804-ben és ő keresztelte meg Lenaut, a költőt (született 1802. aug. 13.) a csatádi templomban.
