Festetics János (tolnai gróf),
a pozsonyi akadémiában tanult 1792–95-ig, azután a pesti egyetemen végezte tanulmányait; később birtokán élt Baltaváron Vasmegyében.
Csaplovics Topographisches Archivjában (II. 1821.) van egy czikke: Verhältniss der Bauern in Ungarn zu ihren Gutsherrn.
Munkája: Assertiones ex physica, quas in r. univ. Pestiensi, 1787. mense aug. publice propugnavit. Pestini.
