Warren Sámuel, angol regényiró és jogtudós, szül. Racreben (Denbighshire) 1807 máj. 23., megh. 1877 jul. 21-én. 1831. már nagy klienturának örvendett. 1851. királyi ügyész lett, 1854-74. Hull város szindikusa. Munkái: Passages from the diary of a late physician (3 köt., London 1838); Ten thousand a year (3 köt., u. o. 1841); Introduction to law studies (2 köt., 1863); Duties of attornies and solicitors (1851). Műveinek népszerü kiadása megjelent 5 kötetben (1853-54.)
