O'Falnagan (ejtsd: - flennegen) James Roderick, irországi iró, szül. Fermoyban 1814 szept. 1. Ügyvéd lett 1838., majd 1846. corki ügyésznek nevezték ki. Már előbb is föltünt Impressions at home and abroad (2 köt., London 1836) c. köteteivel, 1845-52. pedig az Irish National Magazine folyóirat szerkesztője volt; 1861. D'Altonnal kiadta: The History of Dundalk, 1866. irta: Bar life of O'Connel, és Bryan O'Regan c. regényét. Fő műve: The lives of the Lord Chancellors and Keepers of the Great Seal of Ireland (2 köt., 1870); irta még: The Irish bar (1878); The Munster circuit (1879); Annals, anecdotes, traits and traditions of the Irish Parliaments 1772-1800 (Dublin 1893).
