Notidanidae, az őshalakhoz tartozó haránt száju cápák egyik családja, ahová egyetlen nem négy fajjal tartozik. Notidanus (Hexanchus) griseus Cuv., hat pár kopoltyunyilással, 3.8 m. hosszu. - N. (Heptanchus) cinereus Cuv., hét pár kopoltyunyilással. Csak 2.25 m. hosszu, u. o. él.
