Nota Albert, olasz vígjátékiró, szül. Torinóban 1775 nov. 15., megh. u. o. 1847 ápr. 18. Jogot tanult, s előbb ügyvédkedett, majd állami szolgálatba lépvén, 1820. intendáns lett Bobbióban, 1823. San Remóban, végre Casaleben és Cuneóban. Legjobb darabjai a jellemvígjátékok (La lusinghiera, Il progettista stb.), melyekben Molieret és Goldonit utánozta, noha egyes művein (I primi passi al mal costume, Educazione e natura stb.) meglátszik Iffland iránya is Összes művei legutoljára Teatro comico (Torino 1842-43) címen jelentek meg.
