Narthex
Narthex (növ.), magas ernyős kóró, a Ferula communis L. (l. Ferula és Aszandkóró). A N. rokon szava a Narthekion a. m. szekrényke vagy pikszis, a régiek drága tárgyaikattartották benne. A középkorban a templom előcsarnoka.
