Lajos
Lajos (németül Ludwig, latinul Lodovicus, Ludovicus, franciául Louis, mely utóbbiból a magyar Lajos származott), régi frank név, mely Chlodwigtól ered és annyit tesz, mint jeles vitéz. E nevet igen sok európai uralkodó viselte.
