Danzel Tivadar Vilmos, német esztétikus és irodalomtörténész, szül. Hamburgban 1818 febr. 4., meghalt Lipcsében mint egyetemi tanár 1850 máj. 9. Munkái: Über Goethes Spinozismus (Hamb. 1843); Über die ästhetik der Hegelschen Philosophie (u. o. 1844); Gottsched u. seine Zeit (Lipcse 1848); Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, sein Leben und seine Werke (1850). Apróbb munkáit Jahn O. adta ki Gesammelte Aufsätze c. a. (Lipcse 1855).
