Cummins
Cummins (ejtsd: kömminsz) Mária, amerikai regényirónő, született Salemben 1827 ápr. 9. (Massachusetts állam), meghalt a Boston melletti Dorchesterben 1866. okt. 1. Főműve The Lamplighter (1854), melylyel rendkivüli népszerüségre tett szert. Egyéb művei: Mabel Vaughan (1857); El Fureidis (1862) és Haunted hearts (1864).
