Adlung Jakab, német zenetudós szül. Binderslebenben 1699 julius 14-én, megh. Erfurtban 1762 jul. 5-én. Híres zongoraművész; művei: « Anleitung zur musikal. Gelehrtheit» (1758), «Musica mechanika orgonoedi» (1767-68) és «Musikalisches Siebengestirn» (1768) nagyfontosságuak a zenetörténetre.
