Nachtigal Jakab,
bölcseleti és theologiai doktor, kegyesrendi áldozópap, gymnásiumi tanár volt Szegeden 1842–43-ban, hol a világ- és hazai történelmet tanította. 1859-ben a pesti gymnasiumban tanított.
Munkája: Asserta ex universa theologia, quae superatis rigorosis examinibus… in reg. universitate Hungarica, pro consequenda SS. theologiae doctoratus laurea palam propugnanda suscepit. Disputabitur die 25. Oct. 1838. Pestini.
Universalis Schematismus pro anno 1842–1843. Budae 1239. h. és a budapesti egyetemi könyvtár példányáról.
