Balázsovits Odoricus,
szent Ferencz-rendi szerzetes, szül. 1810-ben Mocsonokon; 22 éves korában lépett a szerzetbe és 1833-ban szenteltetett fel. A bölcselet, majd a theologia lectora, 1856-tól pedig három évig a szláv missio igazgatója lett. Hosszabb ideig a nyitrai rendház főnöki tisztét viselte. 1868-ban pedig tartományi vicáriussá léptették elő. Meghalt 1875. aug. 11. Nyitrán.
