Wright (ejtsd: rájt) Vilmos, angol orientálista, szül. Bengáliában 1830 jan. 17., megh. Cambridgeben 1889 máj. 22. Tanulmányait a hallei egyetemen végezte, 1855. tanár Londonban, 1856. Dublinben, 1869. cambridgei tanár és a British Museum kéziratainak őre.
