BOOK SCANNERS

We use the book scanners for massive and high-quality digitization of large and particularly protected documents. These are charters; ancient and precious books; segments. Scanning of the documents happens without mechanical influence. The method is uniquely careful, UV free. The fast scanning ensures that the cold lamp of a light is used only for few seconds on the surface. The precisely adjustable book holder of the scanners enables the digitization of thick books, even being in bad condition without causing further damages.

The quasi infinite capacity of the scanners (60.000 double-sided sheets/day) enables the processing of grand-sized book series, journals. With the help of the program developed by Arcanum the digitized documents can be published on the internet or offline.

LARGE FORMAT SCANNERS

We use large format scanner for massive and high-quality digitization of maps, plans, posters. Due to its unique image quality even the very small texts appear high-toned. With the help of careful and precise roller mechanism also the very fine documents can be scanned without any damages. The lightning takes only few times thanks to the very fast imaging senzors, so it does not causes any affection on the map surface.
