Ordo
Ordo, 1) egy-egy társadalmi osztály közjogi elnevezése, így: o. senatorius, o. equester, o. decurionum, olykor a plebs. 2) Ordo judiciorum privatorum és publicorum, a régi rendes peres eljárás, ellentétben a rendkívülivel (cognitio extraordinaria). 3) A katonaságnál a legio egy részcsapata (a cohors kivételével), sor, oszloprend, különösen centuria (manipulusszal szemben). Jelenti ordo a centuriók szolgálati fokozatát is (Caes. b. g. 5, 30. 6, 7. b. c. 1, 3), sőt olykor ordines a. m. ordinum ductores, centuriones. CS. JÓ.
