Soterius András,
orvosdoktor, S. György evang. lelkész-író fia; a hallei egyetemen tanult és ott nyert 1734-ben orvosdoktori oklevelet. Hazájába visszatérve, Nagyszebenben telepedett le mint gyakorló-orvos, hol 1748. márczius 23. városi főorvos és 1761. máj. 9. városi tanácsos lett. Meghalt 1775. júl. 9. Nagy-Szebenben.
Munkája: Dissertatio inauguralis medica, de Dissenteria, praeside Friderico Hoffmann pro gradu Doctoris habita d ... Maji, 1734. Halae.
